Korea. IL2 Series: Gameplay Trailer Released, Pre-Orders Open

We're glad to announce that our giant project is getting closer to its conclusion: the Early Access will start in the Spring, and the official release is scheduled for Q2 2026. We've just released the first gameplay trailer, featuring actual in-game footage:
Korea. IL-2 is a generational leap that honors the dramatic transition from propeller-driven aircraft to jet fighters in the 1950s, featuring the largest map in IL2 Series history and historic aircraft, including the F-86A-5 Sabre and MiG-15bis. Built on an entirely new engine featuring enhanced damage and flight modeling, Korea. IL2 Series delivers incredible immersion while maintaining the franchise's signature balance of authentic simulation and accessibility.
Eight meticulously recreated player-controllable aircraft form the core of Korea. IL-2’s roster, each constructed from real schematics, historical photographs, pilot manuals, and museum documentation. Every gauge functions. Every gunsight operates as it did in the hands of the pilots who flew them.

The obsessive attention to detail extends far beyond the aircraft themselves. Dozens of AI-controlled planes — including B-29 bombers — vehicles, trains, and ships populate the battlefield with an exceedingly high level of detail, rarely achieved in flight combat simulation titles today.
Players will pilot these legendary aircraft across a 75,000+ square mile (200,000 square km) map, the largest in the IL-2 franchise’s history. It is not a modern Korea, either — the team at 1C Game Studios referenced historical maps and documents to painstakingly reconstruct the landscape as it existed in the early 1950s, even accounting for dramatic changes like filled straits and altered coastlines that transformed the region over seven decades. The virtual battlefield includes dozens of historically accurate airbases, hundreds of city and townscapes, seaports, and dams connected by an extensive transport network of roads and rail lines.
Additional Features:

New Museum Mode offers players a personal hangar where they can examine every rivet, explore cockpits, manipulate controls, and dive deep into the development history and combat record of each aircraft.

Career Mode places players in the role of squadron commander at a historically authentic airbase, managing personnel and materiel while reading actual news from the period. Lead flights into combat when the moment calls for it, or focus on the strategic challenges of keeping your unit operational during one of the 20th century's most intense conflicts.

Accessibility: Korea maintains the IL2 franchise's philosophy: real pilot procedures are available for those who want them, but you won't need to memorize engine startup sequences to experience the thrill of jet combat.

Supported Hardware: Gamepads, Desktop flight sticks, High-end HOTAS systems, Full VR support via OpenXR and OpenVR.
The Pre-Order includes all eight player-controllable aircraft, unique Aerobatic Team liveries for MiG-15, F-86 Sabre, and F-84 Thunderjet, unique liveries for La-5F, La-5FN, and P-51D that will unlock for customers who own these aircraft in Great Battles immediately, and the Early Access to the Korea sim in Spring 2026.
Korea. IL-2 Series will launch at $99.99 on full release, but there is a dynamic discount to reward early adopters: the current preorder price is discounted to $79.99 and will increase to $89.99 at Early Access launch.

The special Founders Edition ($139.99) is intended for flight sim enthusiasts who would like to support further development. It includes all preorder content listed above, plus Year 1 DLC access featuring five additional aircraft and new gameplay features to be revealed later.
